Arsip UGM held series of events titled International Seminar of Archives on December 2017, 15th-16th. Taking place at UC Hotel UGM, Call of Papers Conference held in the first day, in this conference there are 11 presenter go up on stage to present their article.
As for the second day, we have Prof. Charles Jeurgen from Universitiet van Amsterdam share about archives transformation from traditional to digital. Drs. Nico van Horn from KITLV share his archives experiences in KILTV. Prof. Hidenori Watanave from Tokyo Metropolitan University introduce new way using archives to interact with people with mapping and automatic coloring technology.
From Indonesia Arsip UGM invited Dr. Mustari Irawan, M.PA., as Chief of National Archive of Indonesia to share Indonesia’s archives management and we also invited Dr. Sri Margana from Cultural Science Faculty, UGM to share about university role on Archival Science.
